Middle Easterners Buying Lots of Goods from United States through MyUS

10/10/2011

MyUS.com, the leader in international package shipping, has reported a strong surge of new customers from the Middle East over last year (Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Yemen, Bahrain, Kuwait, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and other countries). With American magazines like Vogue, Glamour and InStyle having a broad audience within this region, there has always been a strong influence of American fashion and a desire to acquire those items.

Shopping for the latest trends and hard-to-find items has been the catalyst for bringing these customers to MyUS.com. Thus far, they have witnessed a dramatic increase in shipping volume from customers residing in the Greater Middle East region. The shipped items range from gaming and electronic products to household items, like vacuums to high-end apparel and home goods brands.

“MyUS.com has always had a strong customer base within this region, however this latest surge in buying and shipping in the US could easily be attributed to the growing frustrations consumers are feeling with local based shipping companies,” says Eric Baird, CEO and Founder of MyUS.com.

“We have always focused our efforts on superior customer service by inspecting each package that arrives to our warehouse, ensuring the most cost-effective shipping option is chosen and offering several means of contact to their dedicated account manager. It is something that definitely makes a difference to active shoppers of USA goods. They’re willing to pay that little bit extra to ensure a safe and proper delivery of their items direct to their door,” continued Mr. Baird.
