MyUS.com Partners with Wildfang to Spread Tomboy Style

6/20/2013

The international package forwarding and consolidation company MyUS.com has partnered with U.S. retailer Wildfang to help make tomboy-style fashion more accessible to women in Canada.

Under the new agreement, women in Canada can order shirts, shoes, and accessories in tomboy style from the Oregon, USA retailer. Wildfang ships the order to the MyUS.com facility in Florida, and MyUS.com forwards the package for Canadian delivery.

Wildfang, which means “Tomboy” in German, seeks to deliver the best men’s styles, but in clothing designed for women. Co-founders Julia Parsley and Emma McIlroy, formerly of Nike, launched the company after discovering an unfulfilled niche. “We kept finding ourselves in the men’s department… salivating over styles we wished we could wear,” explained McIlroy. “We’ve felt all our lives like there was no one out there catering to our needs.”

After filling this need for a growing customer base in the American market, Wildfang selected MyUS.com to fill the niche in international markets. MyUS.com offers U.S. shipping addresses to customers in Canada and around the world, helping merchants like Wildfang connect with an international audience. “The need is there in all countries,” said MyUS.com VP of Sales John Wright, “and we’re happy to help women around the world buy from Wildfang.”

Wildfang has garnered support from some very well-known names. The company’s launch video included such notables as Kate Moennig, Hannah Blilie, Glamour Editor Laurel Pantin, and Olympic Gold Medalist Megan Rapinoe. Wildfang co-founder Parsley explained, “Everyone who is building this—from our celebrities to our team—strongly believes in our vision. Wildfang is the home of tomboys.”
