Carol's Daughter was launched in 1993 by Lisa Price in her Brooklyn, New York kitchen. Her homemade skin and hair care products became so popular with her loyal customers that she opened her first boutique in 1999. Her website quickly followed in 2000. As a pioneer of the resurgence in natural hair care, the brand made history by becoming a first on exhibit in the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.
