An Explanation of MyUS Storage Fees
Sometimes certain fees can be confusing, but we’re here to help explain what storage fees are and how much they will cost you depending on your type of membership.
Why Do You Charge Storage Fees?
Storage fees are charged after a certain amount of time to keep your package at our facilities until you are ready to have them shipped to you. These fees are necessary because we have limited space to store the high volume of packages that we receive daily and thus encourage you to ship your packages in a timely manner so we have plenty of room for all of our customers to enjoy our services.
How Much Does Package Storage Cost?
Storage fees differ based on your type of membership. Single Package Members do not need to worry about storage fees, as their packages are automatically shipped when they arrive at our facilities. Premium and Business members get 30 days of free package storage for both normal and oversized packages, giving you plenty of time to get your packages shipped to you at your convenience without paying added fees.
However, after those 30 days your packages will start to incur storage fees. This will continue until your package is shipped, returned, or discarded. From day 31 to 60 you will be charged $1.25 USD per day for non-oversized packages and $2.00 USD per day for oversized packages. A package is considered oversized if any side is over 48" in length and overweight if the package is 150 lbs or more. These fees are the same for both our US and UK facility.
After 60 days we will attempt to auto-ship your items to the address in your account.
Make sure to keep an eye on your emails and your MyUS account to avoid your packages being stored for longer than intended.
