About This Scholarship
MyUS.com is pleased to offer our annual “Global Perspectives” scholarship. This program focuses on the role of experiential learning in preparing global-ready graduates.

Essay Prompt
Essay Requirement
Length: 500 words
Write an essay detailing why you chose an international program, how that program enhanced or will enhance your studies, and how it shaped your perspective relative to other cultures.
Your essay should clearly address
- Why you chose an international program
- How it enhanced or will enhance your studies
- How it impacted your cultural perspectives
- How this will support your future business or career success
- How your experience makes you more competitive in today’s global job market
How to Apply
Submit by Email
Send your application to scholarships@myus.com with the following information.
- Your essay attached as a document or included in the email body
- A photo of yourself alone with no other people
- Any additional relevant information you feel will help tell your story
How Entries Are Reviewed
Essays will be reviewed and the recipient selected based on the student’s ability to communicate their story as it relates to the prompt and the overarching theme of the scholarship. Judges will also evaluate the clarity and thoughtfulness of the essay.
Eligibility
To apply, the applicant must be a student currently enrolled at an officially recognized accredited college or university and must be currently enrolled in or have already been accepted into a study abroad program or as an international student.
You must also
- Be in good standing with your university or college
- Be accepted to a qualifying institution or currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
- Be completing academic courses in a country other than your home country or have studied abroad within the past two academic years
Disqualifications
- Students who are suspended, on academic probation, or in violation of university rules
- Applicants or parents employed by MyUS.com at the time the scholarship is granted
Eligibility of finalists will be verified before winners are selected.
Scholarship Funds
Description of Scholarship Funds
The scholarship recipient will receive a one time $2,500 educational scholarship that can be applied to qualifying expenses including tuition, fees, books, and on campus room and board for the 2025 or 2026 academic year.
Payments issued by MyUS.com are made payable to the student’s approved college or university and mailed directly to the accredited institution designated by the student.
Selection and Terms
Winner Selection and Announcement
The scholarship recipient will be selected by MyUS.com after the November 30, 2025 entry deadline. The winner will be announced and notified via email on or before December 31, 2025.
College or University Approval
The institution must be accredited and recognized by the government in which the university is established. Students attending institutions that do not meet this criteria will be disqualified.
Recipient Responsibilities
The recipient must remain enrolled without interruption unless due to illness, emergency, or military service. It is the recipient’s responsibility to verify receipt of funds with their designated institution and notify MyUS.com if the scholarship payment does not arrive within approximately 30 days of issuance.
Digital Rights Agreement
By submitting an entry, applicants agree that all essays and photos become the property of MyUS.com and may be used in marketing materials, email communications, or online publications without additional notification.
